Glen Park Essentials
Our values play a central role in shaping the culture and expectations at Glen Park Primary. These values reflect the qualities and positive learning behaviours that we aim to nurture in every child, helping them to grow into well-rounded, confident, successful and compassionate individuals.
After thoughtful discussion with staff, children and our parental community, we have identified six core values that will guide our approach to learning, behaviour, and community life:

- Responsibility – We take ownership of our choices, actions, and learning.
- Honesty – We speak and act with truth and integrity.
- Resilience – We keep trying, even when things are difficult.
- Motivation – We show enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward learning and challenges.
- Independence – We develop the confidence to think and act for ourselves.
These values underpin our overall mission of ensuring 'success for all, through learning together' and our core rules of being ready, respectful and safe. They will be actively promoted in classroom displays, assemblies, and around the school. Through stories, real-life examples, and consistent expectations, we will help children understand what these values look like in action and how they can be exhibited in school.
